The Monarch Butterfly Trust

Abstract

The Monarch Butterfly Trust is established to protect NZ's lepidoptera species and their habitat---and our prime method is through education. We are making inroads into changing people's attitudes, building up a respect for our butterflies and moths and at the same time making them appreciate the place of predators and parasites such as aphids on plants etc. It's been a great journey so far. One of our success stories has been our calendar which last year (the first one) received great feedback.
